And guess what ? I THOUGHT YOUR
BLOG WAS THE BEST OF THE LOT !!!

Sehubungan itu, saya terus ke www.akmal.blogspot.com untuk meneliti tulisan anda selainnya. Setelah meneliti biografi anta,
saya amat yakin anta sangat qualified untuk menjadi naik ketua (ataupun ketua pun!) Bahagian Jerai...they have a good
candidate in you.
banyak lagi. Ana yakin anta kenal sesetengah sahabat ana.

Ana mahu tahu kenapa anta memilih UMNO dan bukan PAS ?

Ok, back to politics. Pada hemat ana, dulu UMNO used to be a good party tapi they have been corrupted with money, wealth
and power. Things like cronyism and corruption really do exist in UMNO sehingga kita boleh melihat terdapat setinggi 900
laporan mengenai rasuah sebelum the recent UMNO Party Elections di PWTC.

The UMNO system is flawed from the very start. In the sense that they did not use the "one member one vote system" which is
probably the fairest. Instead they himpunkan a group's vote to only 1 wakil (usually head or assistant head of division) who then
goes off to PWTC to supposedly deliver the consensus vote from his division. Tapi somewhere along the way, during his stay
at his hotel room, somebody slips him a brown envelope with something inside or he gets a telephone call macam The Bourne
Ultimatum starring Matt Damon.

There is not enough strict checking and enforcement to ensure UMNO leaders at the division and branch level are free from
corruption and conduct their business fairly, accurately and honestly. UMNO members even at the very lowest levels form
kunchu-kunchu and groups and honchos and pit themselves against each other.

The implementation of a dictator-style method of staying permanently in office, where the President and Vice President post
cannot be contested is most ridiculous indeed. To be fair, each and every UMNO member who paid RM10 to join UMNO
should be allowed to have 1 vote to select who they want as President and Vice President.

Many years ago when Tun Jaafar Onn lost and UMNO closed itself to non-Malay members, UMNO became a one-sided,
monotonous one race party and as a result it cannot implement Islam and its agenda effectively. Islam does not distinguish
between race. As an example, if one have a Malaysian national football side that consisted mainly of 11 Malay players, they
would lose 100-0 to a Malaysian national football side of mixed Malay, Chinese and Indian players because then we can have
Mokhtar Dahari at the front, Serbegeth Singh at the back and Soh Chin Aun in goal ! Same with a corporate company. It is
more effective if its employees are multi-racials. I cannot see Malays from the kampungs able to accept this.

Many projects given by UMNOs to Malays have been "abused" by the Malays themselves by sub-contracting the work to
Chinese and they just goyang kaki and take the 'mark up'.

(This my 2nd comment section)

Mahathir himself has made many mistakes in that (1) he brought up Anwar and allowed Anwar to leapfrog many UMNO
leaders who were even higher up and then suddenly he expels Anwar because he found out Anwar was a 'bad' person. Tun M
should have vetted his candidates and VP / DPM carefully. Many candidates who worked as DPM under Tun M did not have a
chance to make it as PM. People like Dato' Musa Hitam, I think, would have been a quite balanced PM for Malaysia.

And of course Tun M's other mistake was the appointment of Pak Lah to replace him. Tun M's 360 degree U-turn on Pak Lah
and even severe criticisms against him makes Tun M look like a clown because it was Tun M who elected Pak Lah. And until
now, Tun M has not admitted his mistake.

I fully agree with Dr M's statement that Muhyiddin's insistence on overlooking over 90% of the Malaysian public's opinion that
English should remain as the standard language for learning in school especially Maths and Science instead of Bahasa,
WILL CAUSE UMNO AND BN TO LOSE HEAVILY IN THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTIONS. So why isn't anybody making
an uproar out of this ?

After looking at the abuse Dr Khir Toyo made on the state PKNS funds and the BALKIS fiasco and after seeing him and his
whole family entourage enjoying their 2 weeks stay in US Disneyland at the expense of PKNS money, and looking at so many
UMNO leaders with their very large bungalows with White House type pillars and columns and 3 or 4 BMWs and Mercedes
parked in front of their lawn (you yourself included if you manage to successfully make it to the top!), it is no wonder that BA is
getting my vote and will get my vote for 2012 GE unless YOU CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE!

In Shah Alam, I cannot imagine how many times the job to decorate the roundabout in front of the Sultan's Palace has been
meted out just for politics. I also cannot imagine what kind of land scams exist under Dr Khir but now under PKR's Tan Sri
Khalid, let us see what actually happened. I note that the state BN did not allow PKR into the State Secretariat for one night
(with police cordoning off the entrance) until they have cleared their belongings and whatever it is they want to clear, until
PKR came in to a totally empty building the next day!

Put it simple la Akmal...if Tan Seri Khalid had not taken over, Khir's misuse of the state funds would not have been exposed la!

Also, why are you trying to find out little little mistakes in Dr Hassan Ali's suggeston that beer be banned from 7-Eleven style
outlets in Selangor ? As a Malay, you should be happy that at least now, under BA, somebody is doing something about it and
making his voice heard, whereas under umpteen years under BN, this would have been a "sweep under the carpet" issue. You
see, Akmal, open your eyes ... UMNO just couldn't care less...whereas PAS cares. Don't try to find out pinprick mistakes in
Dr Hassan's suggestion...I know it is not perfect....but support it. When that works out, we can go for an even stringent
measures the next time around. You see Akmal, under UMNO and BN, we have been having massage parlours and hard
alcohols in hotels in KL for tens of years and the UMNO leaders who supposedly call themselves Muslims, just don't care. So
don't think the Muslim majority in Malaysia don't care. We see and now we are giving UMNO some medicine!

As I had said in chedet's blog, UMNO leaders are Western educated but they do not have strong Islamic foundation
knowledge. PAS leaders pula have strong Islamic foundation knowledge but they do not have a strong Western education.
This is the problem!

(This is my 3rd comment section)

As for me, I would prefer to see a more balanced government like now rather than BN and UMNO have
too much power and continuing to carry out their corruption and sucking off the Malaysian public wealth as they have done for
years! As Tun M so quaintly has shown in chedet, if you check out the annual revenues reported by Petronas under 22 years
under Tun and 4 years under Pak Lah and instead of giving them to the politican's deep pockets but instead giving the annual
revenues to each and every single Malaysian citizen fairly and equally, EACH MALAYSIAN WOULD BE RM2.5 MILLION
RINGGIT RICHER ! THIS ISSUE ALONE IS THE ZENITH AND THE PEAK THAT SHOWS HOW CORRUPT UMNO
AND BN IS. Also, has Petronas bayar zakat galian ?

In johor itself, the building of a causeway instead of a bridge has caused stagnant water and disallowed ships from smoothly
sailing through the Johor Straits. Why can't we destroy the causeway and build a bridge instead ?

Under UMNO, hedonism has had an all-time high. With TV3, Jom Heboh, Akadmi Fantasia, Astro and all the artistes that
UMNO has nurtured, the Malaysians youths have had their morals corrupted and UMNO and BN has been kow tow and sujud
to the Yellow Culture. Now with Najib, even Singaporeans are welcome to destroy Malaysia specifically Johor. Luckily we
have someone strong and brave enough to stand up to politicans like the Sultan of Johor!

BN and UMNO has also supported Western style Yahudi banking system since the country became independent.

The closing of banks on Saturdays have also caused an awful lot of inconvenience to professionals like myself who have only 1
hour for lunch!

Under ISA, UMNO have shown that it is above the people - able to detain anybody anywhere anytime without reason. So now
you are trying to say why we are holding demonstrations ? You should look at the root cause and not the after effects la, Akmal.

Islam has also taken a back seat under UMNO. Not only that, UMNO have made it a habit to meddle in mosques and suraus
whence in fact it is the immediate inhabitants who stay in the kawasan surau or masjid who should more aptly be responsible
for their mosques and suraus. Nik Abdul Aziz and PAS is not allowed to speak in BN-ruled states. Harakah cannot be
published and distributed to the Malaysian public. The opposition has ZERO air time in the TV and newspaper media. To me,
it simply shows UMNO cannot accept criticisms. They only expect praise. They even feel happy if they themselves heap praise
on themselves!

Salam Akmal

(This is my fourth and final comment section! Sorry for the long comment!)

After all my rant above, I want to make it clear to you, Akmal, that I am not for the opposition. I am not for people like Anwar. I
only want an honest, ikhlas, fair, hardworking and committed leader who champions Islam and does a lot of dakwah work. Why
doesn't UMNO Muslim leaders dakwah their MCA and MCA friends ? It was UMNO who brought themselves down to greed
and corruption, not me. When I saw that UMNO had become greedy and corrupted, I merely elected the opposition. What's
wrong with that ? My objective is just to ensure that there is a better balance (by making the opposition stronger) to counter-
check UMNO's excessive-ness. And when the opposition had a chance to prove themselves in the last GE, we must
acknowledge that some good has at least come out of this such as :-

(1) Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim leading Selangor professionally instead of Dr Khir Toyo
(2) Finally someone from PAS calling for more stringent alcohol measures to protect the Selangor Muslim's akidah
(3) Land scams by Gerakan in Penang being investigated
(4) Land scams in Selangor being investigated
(5) More opposition to the ISA
(6) PAS finally able to preach more on Islam
(7) UMNO leaders being brought back down to earth to reality
(8) More balance in the Malaysian Government
(9) Hopefully Kelantan and Terengganu will get their fair share of oil money to build their nation

However I do acknowledge all the modern development that UMNO has brought to Malaysia and the many beautiful mosques it has built and the many scholarships, educational, transport and health facilities it has so selflessly given. No opposition is going to make me forget that. In fact the opposition is probably worse than BN as it is so loosely coupled with many differences and it has inexperience and suddenly you have the nation's wealth being entrusted in their hands! This is dangerous but as I said before.....UMNO GOT GREEDY AND CONTEMPTUOUS AND FORGOT ISLAM. THAT'S ALL !
